Magnolia Firefighters Uncover Marijuana Grow Operation During Fire
Firefighters find drugs while inside mobile home duplex fire, police charge occupants with possession of marijuana.

MAGNOLIA, TX -- Members of the Magnolia Volunteer Fire Department discovered a small marijuana growing operation while they were fighting a mobile home fire on Feb. 27
Firefighters were called at about 10:30 a.m. to the 3100 block Primrose for a fire at a mobile home duplex.
While firefighters were inside the home, they noticed several marijuana plants and contacted the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office once the blaze was contained. No one was home at the time of the fire, officials said.
Investigators confiscated two plants and two ounces of marijuana, and charged the occupants of the home with possession of marijuana.
