Magnolia Man Arrested in Marijuana Grow Operation
Deputies find marijuana infused cookies and gummy bears, mushrooms, and 50 marijuana plants.

MAGNOLIA, TX -- The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man in Magnolia after uncovering a marijuana grow operation there on Wednesday.
David Yeoward, 45, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a first-degree felony, and possession of marijuana, a third-degree felony.
A special investigations unit and a narcotics enforcement team with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant on Yeoward in the 14900 block of St. James Place, after receiving a tip that Yeoward was selling marijuana and other narcotics at that location.

Officials executed the warrant on Wednesday and discovered a growing operation with more than 50 plants and a marijuana extraction lab, the sheriff's office said in a press release.
Officials also found 15.46 pounds of dried marijuana, 185 grams of marijuana extract in vials for vapor pens, 2,191 grams of butter and shatter and 31 grams of psychedelic mushrooms.

There were also three packages of cookies and three packages of gummy bears infused with marijuana and $59,000 in cash.
Yeoward was taken to the Montgomery County Jail where he was charged.
