CONROE, TX — A Magnolia man was sentenced to 60 years in the Texas Prison System after he was convicted of his third Driving While Intoxicated charge on Oct. 18. William Brown Jr, 36, was arrested in February after a DPS trooper pulled him over for speeding on FM 1486 near Magnolia. (Want to get daily news updates and other events going on in your area? The DPS trooper said Brown appeared to be intoxicated and told the trooper during the traffic stop that he'd <a href="http://abc13.com/habitual-felon-sentenced-to-60-yrs-for-3rd-dwi/2551655/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">smoked marijuana</a> earlier in the day, KTRK reported. Brown's blood alcohol level was at .121, which is over the legal limit of .08 in Texas. During the punishment phase of his trial, jurors learned of Brown's previous convictions throughout his adult life.
