Magnolia Man Sentenced To 60 Years In Prison For DWI
William Brown, Jr. will spend the next 60 years in prison after he was arrested on his third DWI charge in February.

CONROE, TX — A Magnolia man was sentenced to 60 years in the Texas Prison System after he was convicted of his third Driving While Intoxicated charge on Oct. 18.

The DPS trooper said Brown appeared to be intoxicated and told the trooper during the traffic stop that he’d smoked marijuana earlier in the day, KTRK reported.

Brown’s blood alcohol level was at .121, which is over the legal limit of .08 in Texas.
During the punishment phase of his trial, jurors learned of Brown’s previous convictions throughout his adult life.

Brown has a lengthy criminal record that includes DWI, DWI with a child, narcotics, theft, felon in possession of a firearm, and assault of a disabled individual, according to the Hello Woodlands newsletter.
