Man Crashes Pickup Into Lake Conroe

CONROE, TX — A man is in the hospital after he crashed his truck in Lake Conroe Wednesday evening.

The accident happened at about 7:30 p.m. at the Walden Yacht Club and Marina.

Investigators with the Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable’s Lake Patrol Division witnesses said the driver of a pickup was speeding through the marina when the truck hit a curb and went airborne into the lake, KPRC reported.

He was later taken to Conroe Regional Hospital, where his condition is unknown.

Dive teams recovered the pickup submerged in 16-feet of water, KHOU reported.

The accident s under investigation.
