Man Sentenced To Life In Prison For Sexually Abusing A Child
Before getting sentenced to life in prison, Cameron Keith Brown had numerous run-ins with the law.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- A 36-year-old man has been sentenced to life in prison for having a prolonged sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl. Cameron Keith Brown was found guilty of continuous sexual abuse of a child and received his life sentence Tuesday, ABC13 reported.
Brown began the relationship with the girl while the two were on a cruise. Afterward, Brown took the girl to hotels and parking lots where they had sex, ABC13 added. The relationship continued for about two months before the girls mother found text messages from Brown on her daughter's phone.
Brown has a long criminal history dating back to 2004 when he was charged with arson and theft. In 2006, he was charged with a DWI, which was reduced to reckless driving. He was charged with assault family violence in 2015, ABC13 added.
