Don't Meth With Texas Tow Truck Drivers; It'll Mean Slammer Time

SPLENDORA, TX — A 25-year old man is being held in the Montgomery County Jail without bail after he allegedly tried to pay a wrecker driver with meth to tow his car.

Dylan Mark French was arrested Sunday morning by police, after he allegedly offered up the meth as payment to tow his car.

The driver refused payment, and when he realized there were narcotics in the man's car, he called police.

Officers with the Splendora Police Department and the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable's Office arrived a short time later, and searched French's car with a K9 officer who found 520 grams of methamphetamine.

French is charged with possession of a controlled substance, a first degree felony
