Missing Persons Cases Leave Unanswered Questions For Montgomery County Families

Danielle Sleeper has been missing for two years, and Donna Cloud disappeared on Oct. 19, 2016.

CONROE, TX — Missing persons cases can be among the most difficult to solve for law enforcement, and the most painful for the families of those who’ve suddenly vanished.

There is often that sense of fear that grips a family when the missing person is a juvenile, and it can be much the same for the families of adults who simply disappear and are never heard from again. Both of these cases are unrelated, but are baffling, especially to family members who are left wondering where their loved ones are.

Donna Kay Cloud, 19, was last seen on Oct. 19, 2016 by her family in Splendora, and according to her father Darrel Beaty, his daughter had a date with a man in Kingwood, the Conroe Courier reported.

But it was a claim that no one has been able to verify.

Law enforcement officers checked the surveillance footage of the restaurant, and Cloud is nowhere to be seen.

Beatty told the Courier that he wants to find his daughter, and bring her home.

"She wouldn't just disappear” Beatty said. “Donna was free to come and go from my home. She is not a runaway.”
