Missing Prairie Views A&M Student Found Dead

HOCKLEY, TX -- A Prairie View A&M student who was reported missing by his family early this week, has been found dead.

Investigators with the Waller County Sheriff’s Office received a tip Friday and found the body of Tristan Houston, 20, in a wooded area along Clear Creek Road near Magnolia. (Sign up for Patch’s daily newsletter for your neighborhood.)

Houston, who was reported missing Wednesday, was shot execution style, investigators said.

So far, deputies have made one arrest in Houston’s death, and are interviewing several others.

The name of the person arrested has not yet been released.

The case is still under investigation.
