Montgomery County Deputies Arrested Three After Man Reports Two Men Beat Him And Stole His Marijuana

Two men are facing robbery charges, while another is out on bond o the possession of marijuana charge

CONROE, TX --A Three men are in the Montgomery County jail after two men allegedly beat up their drug dealer and stole a bag of marijuana from him.

Sheriff’s deputies were who were patrolling near an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Tangle Brush Drive were flagged down at about 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, who reported two suspicious men running through the apartment complex.

Deputies said that witness reported seeing Boris Avelle Lee, 23, and Jacques Gerald Blair, 25, running through the apartment complex, and appeared to be carrying a large bag of marijuana, that they’d taken from a man they’d beaten up.

One of the men was detained after a short foot chase with sheriff’s deputies, while the second man was found a short time later in the same apartment complex.

Deputies said that witnesses in the apartment complex saw Lee and Blair assault Colton Curbello, 19, and take a bag from him.

Witnesses also told deputies the bag contained what they described as marijuana.

While investigators were interviewing Lee and Blair, deputies received a call from Curbello, who was at another apartment complex on the same street, and reported that he’d been assaulted and robbed by Lee and Blair.

The investigation revealed that Curbello was attempting to sell the marijuana to Lee and Blair when they beat him up and took his marijuana.

Investigators also found marijuana in Curbello’s car.

Curbello was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana,and was released on bond.

Lee and Blair were charged with robbery and are in the Montgomery County Jail.
