1. Over 5,000 Montgomery County residents lost power Tuesday because of thunderstorms and high winds from Hurricane Nicholas. By late Tuesday, less than 1,000 were without power. (Conroe-Montgomery County Patch)
2. A murder suspect who skipped bail nearly two weeks ago was apprehended as a suspect in a Walgreens robbery. (Spring Patch)
3. Montgomery County Commissioners approved a $4 million payment from Precinct 3 for the Gosling Road construction project in The Woodlands. The $8.2 million project will be a joint effort between Montgomery and Harris Counties. (Woodlands Online)
