Montgomery Man Shoots Wife, Kills Himself During Argument
A Montgomery County man returning from his high school reunion, shot his wife during an argument, and then killed himself.

MONTGOMERY, TX — A Montgomery County man who'd just attended his high school reunion, shot his wife durong an argument, and then killed himself in an attempted murder-suicide.
Police were called to a home in the 300 block of Waterstone Court, at about 12:10 a.m. on Sunday for a shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found Rachel Butler suffering for a single gunshot wound to the chest, and her husband, Jason Butler, dead from a gunshot wound to the head.

Investigators said the couple went to his high school reunion in Houston and were on the way home, when they got into a violent argument.
The fight continued until they got home, and at some point Jason Butler got a gun from inside his truck, and shot his wife before killing himself.

Rachel Butler was taken to Conroe Regional Medical Center and is expected to recover.
Neighbors told police that the couple had just moved to the neighborhood and had two small children.
