Police ID Victims Killed In I-45 Crash
Nahum Ortez' Mendoza, 29, and Praxedis Morales, 51, were killed when Mendoza crossed fro the northbound lanes and hit several vehicles.

NEW WAVERLY, TX — Investigators have released the names of the two people killed in a horrific crash on Interstate 45 in New Waverly on Tuesday.
The crash, which involved a charter bush, and three passenger vehicles, happened at about 2:30 p.m.

Witnesses said that a maroon Kia Sorento, driven by 29-year-old Nahum Ortez’ Mendoza, was traveling north on I-45, when he crossed the median into southbound traffic, and hit a silver vehicle head-on, and hit the side of the passenger bus, and back of another car, KPRC reported.
The crash killed Mendoza, and the driver of the silver vehicle, identified as 51-year-old Praxedis Morales, from Alvin.

Several passengers on the charter bus suffered minor injuries.
The case is still under investigation.
