Police Investigate Murder-Suicide In Montgomery County
Investigators comb through clues in shooting of Clarence Comer, 85, and his daughter-in-law Carmelita Comer

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX — Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an apparent murder-suicide involving an 85-year old man and his 62-year old daughter-in-law.
The shooting happened at Saturday at about 12:15 p.m. at a home on Larks Aire Place, in the Villages of Cochran’s Crossing.
When sheriff’s deputies arrived at the home, they found 85-year old Clarence Comer and 62-year old Carmelita Comer dead from gunshot wounds, KPRC reported. Investigators said they have been interviewing other family members who were at the home when the shooting happened, the Conroe Courier reported.
As many as six people live in the home, and were there when the shooting happened.

Forensic investigators are examining evidence and expect to have completed autopsies in the next several days.
