1. The Waller County District Attorney is vowing to get to the bottom of a crash last weekend that injured six cyclists. A teen driver that witnesses say was trying to blow exhaust on cyclists with his pickup truck could face assault charges. (Houston Patch)
2. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is getting prepared for National Night Out, an annual event to strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships. This year's event is Tuesday. (Woodlands Online)
3. A 41-year-old Montgomery man was sentenced to 50 years in prison after he pled guilty to sexual abuse of two girls ages 1 and 7. The man also has pending child pornography charges in Fort Bend County. (Subscription: Houston Chronicle)
4. Missions on Wheels, a nonprofit that provides showers, bunks and trailers to disaster relief organizations during emergencies, is set to open an office on Bailey Grove Road in Montgomery. (Community Impact Newspaper)
