Porter Man Sentenced 30 Years For Sexually Assaulting Children

CONROE, TX — A Porter man who was accused of luring teenaged girls into his home and sexually assualting them was sentenced to 10 yearts in prison.

Omar Davis, 52, who charged with three counts of sexual assault of a child, was convicted April 3 on each of those counts and sentenced to 10 years on each count.

Davis, who was arrested at his home in the 18800 Foren Drive in August 2017, was accused of luring teenage girls who'd run away from a nearby rehab facility, to his apartment where he would sexually assault them.

Officials learned of Davis after a 16-year old girl who'd escaped the facilithy was found in Davis' apartment, where they found evidence of other sexual assaults.

Until his arrest last year, Davis didnt have a criminal history.
