GOVERNMENT LEGACY AWARD
I was honored to ring in the New Year at a local event supporting foster care. To be named this year's Government Legacy Award recipient is something I will always cherish. Most people think of tax reform, health care or maybe free trade when they think of me; but from my early years as a state legislator, I really am proudest of the difference we made for children.

PUTTING OUR VETERANS FIRST
It's been just over a year since we celebrated the grand opening of the much expanded Conroe VA Clinic and it was my honor to celebrate all the new services with our heroes. The local veterans community embraces the clinic even more today than we worked so hard to make it a reality a decade ago. More expansions are in the works in 2017 so stay tuned.
