Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest In Conroe
A routine traffic stop by state troopers led to the discovery of nearly $10,000 in cash and narcotics on Saturday morning.

CONROE, TX — Two men were arrested on Saturday, after police found drugs and more than $10,000 in cash during a routine traffic stop.
The arrest happened at Saturday morning on Interstate 45 after a state trooper stopped a 2015 Hyundai for a traffic violation.
During the traffic stop, DPS Troopers found a clear blue plastic bag of a narcotic that was identified as LSD, KPRC reported.

David Nguyen, 27, of Houston and charged him with tampering with evidence and money laundering,after troopers said he attempted to destroy the evidence, the Houston Chronicle reported.
My Luong, 22, a passenger in the car, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Both were taken to the Montgomery County Jail.
Meanwhile, DPS troopers said they recovered more LSD, and cash totalling nearly $10,000 fro inside the car after the arrests.
