Mitchell's wife took the victim to the doctor and posed as her mother to get victim birth control shots, according to court documents.

CONROE, TX — A Montgomery County pastor accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl allegedly told her that if she told anyone about the assault, God would kill her, according to court documents.

Ronald Mitchell, 56, pastor at The Body of Christ Ministry on Garwood Court in Magnolia, was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexual assault of a child.

The girl, who is not identified in court documents, was reportedly allowed to live in Mitchell's home by the girl's mother, after Mitchell told her mother the girl needed to be watched for 21 days.

According to court documents, Mitchell touched and groped her inappropriately repeatedly, and repeatedly kissed her.

Court records show that Mitchell allegedly forced her to travel with him to Las Vegas, Galveston, and San Antonio, and while there forced her to have sex with him.

According to the warrant, Mitchell’s wife took the girl to a clinic several times and pretended to be her mother, so the girl could receive birth control shots.

Mitchell told the victim that if she told anyone she would drop dead because God would kill her, according to another person living in the home that investigators interviewed.

KPRC reported that several people who were living in the home, including the girl, moved out, and Mitchell contacted one of those who left and told them the girl needed to return.

Investigators executed a search warrant on Tuesday and found a large cache of weapons and ammunition inside Mitchell’s home at the church.

Witnesses told investigators that Mitchell said he was arming for the “hard times” or the rapture.

Mitchell posted bond Thursday, and a judge ordered him to surrender his passport and wear an ankle monitor.
