• Texas Health Grants to Six North Texas Organizations Expand Access to Fresh Produce (fortworthbusiness.com) — Coppell's own Community Garden is getting new raised beds and repairs thanks to a Texas Health Resources grant, helping grow more fresh produce for local families. Metrocrest Services, which serves Coppell and nearby cities, will also enhance teaching and giving gardens so more residents can access healthy food and hands-on gardening education in the coming seasons.
• Texas AP HS football poll (9/14): Prosper, Coppell climb while Waxahachie remains No. 1 (dallasnews.com) — Coppell football fans can celebrate as the Cowboys climbed to No. 10 in the latest statewide AP high school rankings after a dominant 68–7 win over Keller Timber Creek. The poll, compiled by Dave Campbell's Texas Football, tracks how Coppell stacks up against powerhouse programs across every classification in Texas.
