Niche.com recently named Coppell the 2021 Best Suburb to Live in Texas and the Best Suburb to Raise a Family in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area. The website analyzed public data from the United States Census Bureau, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Internal Revenue Service and other sources to rate Coppell and other Texas cities on higher education rate, crime and safety, health and fitness, cost of living and numerous other factors. 

Top marks in the Public Schools, Good for Families, Jobs, Diversity and Health and Fitness categories helped Coppell earn an overall Niche grade of A+. Coppell also received high marks in the Housing, Nightlife, Weather and Commute categories. 

The city also ranked high in Niche.com’s other categories. Coppell earned the following distinctions: 

• Best Place to Live in Texas – 3rd place
• Best Public Schools in Texas – 4th place 
• Best Suburb to Raise a Family in Texas – 4th place
