Do you want to get to know the people in your community better? The Cozby Library and Community Commons has gathered human "books" to be checked out by our "readers" for 20 minute conversations. Readers will have the opportunity to talk to people in the community who are willing to share some of their life experiences that have been influenced by their occupation, their ethnicity, their religion/ideology, their social status, or their immigration status.

Sign-up is highly suggested in order to reserve your time, but you may sign-up on the day of the program if there are spaces available. Time slots are available between 2 and 4 PM on Saturday, September 25.

The "books" that are available are:

  • Someone who has traveled extensively
  • A refugee
  • An immigrant
  • A religious convert
  • A homeschooler
  • A local author
  • A member of the LGBTQIA+ community
  • Someone who has served in the military
