Coppell Police Department Launches Mobile App

From the City of Coppell: The City of Coppell Police Department has launched its new free mobile app that will provide residents with another tool for engaging with the police department. Whether looking for crime statistics and maps or to submit a tip to Coppell Crime Stoppers, the app puts the Coppell Police Department at a resident's fingertips.

"We're very excited about our new app, and we believe this will be a valuable engagement tool," said Coppell Police Chief Danny Barton. "Through the app, we will be able to better communicate with residents, and public safety data can be accessed with the push of a button. We're particularly excited about our HOA feature, which will allow us to work more closely with local home owner associations."

In the near future, the police department will be adding more features to the app, including a child ID/lost child feature. Residents will be able to save updated pictures and identifying information about their child. This information will be saved to the resident's phone only and can be used in the event that a child is separated from a parent or in the case of an abduction.
