Coppell School Board Election: What You Should Know

COPPELL, TX — Midterm elections are coming in May. But along with those elections comes a number of local elections including municipal positions and school board positions. This May, Coppell residents will have a chance to cast ballots for the Coppell ISD Board of Trustees.

Board of Trustee places 6 and 7 are up for re-election. Additionally, a special election for place 2 on the board will be held. The candidates are:

• Place 2: Manish Sethi
• Place 6: Nichole Bentley & Dan Koller
• Place 7: Tracy Fisher

The Board of Trustees is made up of community members who are elected to serve three-year terms. The election will be held May 5, 2018. The filing deadline is Friday, Feb, 16, and voters must register by Monday, April 5.

Early voting begins April 23 and ends May 1. Election day is May 5.
