Dallas County Issues Shelter In Place Order Due To Coronavirus

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins has ordered all individuals currently living in Dallas County, including the City of Coppell, shelter at their place of residence beginning at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, March 23. This order has been issued by Dallas County to help slow the spread the coronavirus and protect the most vulnerable members of our communities. As done previously, Coppell Mayor Hunt will amend the City of Coppell's Orders to reflect those of Dallas County on Monday, March 23.

Residents are encouraged to limit their public activity. Residents are still able to go outside, walk, bike and jog, travel and take care of their essential needs. Grocery stores, restaurants with to-go and delivery services, gas stations, pharmacies, and other operations deemed essential by the Order may remain open and operational. When interacting with others, the six-foot social distancing guidelines must be maintained.
