• Corpus Christi man arrested for murder after fatal shooting on Marion Street (kiiitv.com) — Corpus Christi police arrested 45-year-old Alex Borrego on a murder charge after officers found a man dead at a Marion Street home Saturday evening. Several people were detained for questioning, and detectives say the investigation remains active while they work to identify the victim and determine what led to the shooting.
   

• Corpus Christi Watergarden fountain temporarily closed for repairs after vehicle drove through basin (kristv.com) — Corpus Christi's Watergarden fountain on North Shoreline is closed this week while crews repair concrete, lighting, and water nozzles damaged when a vehicle drove into the basin on Sept. 19. Lighting is shut off and both basins must be drained and refilled, with the city seeking to recover all repair and water costs from the driver.
   

• Endangered Missing: Missing 21-Year-Old Damani Parker (thekatynews.com) — Corpus Christi residents are being asked to help locate 21-year-old Damani Parker, last seen Sunday at 5:30 p.m. near 1502 Airline Road wearing a tan sun hat, blue shirt, gray sweatpants and a black backpack. If you spot him, call 911 immediately or contact the Corpus Christi Police Department at (361) 886-2600 so officers can check his welfare.
