1 Injured, 1 Dead In Fort Worth Shooting

Two people were shot Friday near TCU campus in Fort Worth. This is a developing story.

FORT WORTH, TX — Two people were shot Friday morning in Fort Worth near the TCU campus.

One person was killed in the incident, and nearby schools are on lockdown, WFAA reported. The shooting happened before 10 a.m. at the 3500 block of Rogers Avenue.

A gunman shot the two victims and fled. The surviving victim was taken to a hospital, but his condition is unknown. Police are still searching for the shooter, NBC 5 reported. Those involved are adults and are not TCU students.

WFAA reports Paschal High School and McLean Middle School were under lockdown briefly, but that has now been lifted.
