- The Dallas Police Department is currently investigating a fatal food store shooting that occurred on Sunday night. Curdarrius Chapple, 18, was killed during the incident on South Marsalis Avenue and Ann Arbor Avenue around 11:15 p.m. It is not clear yet what motivated the sudden shooting. (WFAA.com)
- Dallas Children's Advocacy Center is searching for volunteers to support its 2022 Crime Against Children Conference. The event will be between Aug. 8 and Aug. 11 at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. - The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a fatal hit and run incident that occurred on Friday. Portia Dickens, 71, was killed during the incident on 13400 Esperanza Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department immediately. (WBAP News/Talk)
