All Lanes Of I-35E To Close In South Dallas This Weekend

DALLAS, TX — Commuters beware — a major construction project south of Dallas is likely to cause congestion and delays in the I-35E area this weekend.

The entire interstate, both northbound and southbound lanes, will be closed from Friday evening to Monday morning during the demolition of the Beckley Avenue bridge.

During the demolition project, the Zang Boulevard and Twelfth Street overpasses at I-35E will also be closed.

The closure begins at 9 p.m. Friday and is expected to last until 5 a.m. Monday. In the meantime, traffic in the area will be rerouted onto the service road of I-35E.
