Dallas Love Field just unveiled a reimagined brand to the public after 10 months of research, design, development, and strategic planning.

The city published a press release about the changes on Thursday. According to the press release, the new brand is intended to convey efficiency, progression, and modernism as the airport continues to grow its infrastructure and customer experience.

According to the release, DAL implemented a comprehensive, inclusive approach during the rebranding process informed by best practices in public branding. The team gathered insights from over 1,000 community members.

Numerous rounds of creative development incorporated those insights and resulted in the final design. The new design includes a refined star with an airplane and contrails, which is meant to instantly signal the city of Dallas.

The new red and blue color palette is supposed to reflect the airport's warm and welcoming atmosphere while also paying homage to its past and future operational innovation and professionalism.

The old logo was adopted in 2013, and it featured a red circle intersected by three white lines intended to emulate the airport's early runway layout.

Of course, the launch takes place as the city and airport prepared to welcome visitors for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Dallas is scheduled to host nine matches, which is the most of any of the 16 host cities in Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

The airport's website and signage have already been updated, but the new branding will continue to be implemented across various touchpoints over the next two years.
