The City of Dallas just got the results of its 2026 Community Survey, which provides a comprehensive look at resident opinions of city services, quality of life, and community priorities.

The city announced the results in a Friday press release. According to the release, the survey was conducted from February through May in partnership with the ETC Institute.

A total of 2,319 households participated in the survey, including at least 15o responses from each of the city's 14 council districts.

Respondent demographics closely reflect Dallas' overall population in order to ensure the results provide an accurate representative view of resident sentiment.

The city uses the community survey as a key tool for tracking trends in public perceptions. That information helps inform decisions made during the annual budget development process.

According to the release, this year's results show continued improvement across several major categories. This is the third consecutive year of rising satisfaction.

"Dallas residents continue to set a high standard for civic engagement, and this year's survey reaffirms that the work we are doing is making a real difference," said Dallas City Manager Kimberly Bizor Tolbert. "The steady rise in satisfaction reflects our commitment to delivering quality services, listening to our community, and advancing the priorities residents value most."

The full report, including the complete survey questionnaire and a detailed trend analysis, is available on the city's website. Survey results will be presented to City Council on June 17.
