AutoNation is helping local students begin the school year ready to succeed. Throughout the summer, AutoNation Associates from the company's Corporate Office in Irving, Texas, collected, sorted, and donated more than 150 supplies, including pens, pencils, crayons, notebooks, folders, erasers, backpacks and other essential classroom supplies to benefit youth served by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas. The donation helped send 50 kids back to school with all their supplies for an entire year.

This initiative was part of AutoNation's effort to support back-to-school supply drives across the nation. In total, more than 3,400 school supplies were donated to organizations, including the Broward Education Foundation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast in Irvine, California; and the Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle, New York.

"Our team truly came together for this school supply drive, and I couldn't be more proud of the generosity and commitment our Associates showed," said Mathew Giunta, Vice President of AutoNation Business Operations Support. "Knowing these supplies will help students start the school year feeling prepared and confident makes this effort especially meaningful, and we're grateful for the opportunity to support families in our community."

The back-to-school drive reflects AutoNation's broader commitment to giving back to the communities where its Associates live and work, a commitment that extends to supporting organizations impacting health with a focus on cancer research, youth empowerment with a focus on career pathways, and education with a focus on financial literacy.

"Every young person deserves to start the school year feeling confident, prepared and ready to succeed," said Brian Slye, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas. "We're grateful to AutoNation and its Associates for investing in our Club members and helping remove one more barrier for local families. Support like this helps ensure our kids have the tools and opportunities they need to reach their fullest potential."

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas is one of the leading youth-serving organizations in North Texas, positively impacting over 8,700 children since they began operations in 1965. The organization operates more than 30 Clubs across Dallas and Navarro counties and are open to all children between the ages of 6 and 18, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, immigration-status, orientation, religion, or any other status.
