Here are the top three stories today in Dallas:
- One man is dead after an overnight shooting added an apartment complex in Dallas. On Wednesday evening, officers responded to a shooting call at the Overlook Ranch Apartments. upon arrival, an adult male was lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
- The Dallas police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in a hit-and-run crash. The incident occurred on Dec. 23 at East Wheatland Road and Interstate 35E. Willie Clyde Nelson Jr was fatally struck by a vehicle and found lying in a parking lot. (The Dallas Morning News)
- On Thursday, both directions of Interstate 45 were blocked after an 18 Wheeler overturned into a concrete barrier. The incident occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m. when the driver crashed their truck into the concrete wall. (WFAA.com)
