Here are the top three stories in Dallas today:

  1. Dallas-Fire Rescue is reportedly investigating a fire on North Central Expressway as an arson case. The fire began on Tuesday and took about 20 minutes for the department to extinguish. One firefighter was taken to the hospital after being injured during the fire.(WFAA.com)
  2. The Aerospace Maintenance Competition in Dallas is making history today. The first all-women and all-Hispanic teams will be competing at the competition this year. Aircraft maintenance crews from around the world test their skills while competing against each other. There are six American Airlines teams competing this year. (CW33 Dallas)
  3. The Dallas Symphony has taken over The Children's Chorus of Greater Dallas after hiring disputes. The scheduled May 1 concert will still be performed at the Meyerson Symphony. The chorus will reportedly be renamed The Dallas Symphony Children's Choir. (KERA News)
