One of the nation’s most impressive and unique Independence Day celebrations is held in the 4.4 square-mile North Texas town of Addison. On July 3, more than a half-million guests from across the nation come to celebrate Addison Kaboom Town!® - a celebration that has been named among the top fireworks shows in the country,lauded by hundreds of organizations, includingUSAToday, Travel+Leisure, Conde Nast, the American Pyrotechnics Association and more.
From 5 – 10 p.m., the patriotic party in the park promises something for everyone: live music reverberates through the park, festive food and beverage options line every corner, a silent disco offers all-ages fun, and the Patriotic Pergola, provided by the Association of the United States Army, pops up this year to commemorate our nation’s 250th birthday with the flags of all 50 United States and 5 territories.
At 7:30 p.m., all eyes in town will turn to the sky for the Addison Airport Airshow – a captivating show featuring historic planes and impressive stunts. The official fireworks show begins at 9:30 p.m.
Tickets are required for every guest attending the watch party in Addison Circle Park. Tickets are $10 for ages 10 and older, $5 for kids 2-9 and free for kids 2 and younger. They are sure to sell out, so get your soon at addisonkaboomtown.com.
Once tickets are sold out, the only way into the party in the park is by booking an official hotel package at one of the participating Addison hotels. Packages include quality accommodations, a commemorative picnic blanket and guaranteed admission to Addison Circle Park for up to six people.
