Galleria Dallas

Galleria Dallas has built a tradition of collaborating with local artists to celebrate community and creativity. This July, the shopping center has partnered with reputable painter <a href="https://www.devondeshaun.com/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Devon Deshaun</a> to create an impactful Art Window display on Level 1 near The Westin. The display will be up through July 27.
Deshaun has formed a style of painting that is unique to him coined Pebbled Melanin. His technique is a take on stippling/pointillism to create a cohesive design that represents the texture and beauty of the subject. Pebbled Melanin was inspired by the way individual pieces of stained glass at Deshaun’s childhood church came together to make a stunning image.

Frontiers of Flight Museum

This summer, the Smithsonian-affiliated Frontiers of Flight Museum will debut a global-first exhibition that takes a new look at the Hindenburg, focusing on its status as a luxurious passenger experience and the lasting impact of its design and innovation. 
“Hindenburg: The Flying Hotel” explores the history, pop culture, luxury and engineering marvel of one of the most iconic airships of the 20th century. The immersive exhibition will be on display July 2026 through June 2027 and features:
·90 rare artifacts and firsthand historical materials, including China, letters and objects rarely seen by the public
·A fully immersive four-part experience exploring Origins and Engineering, Life Abroad and the Flying Hotel, The Final Flight and Legacy and Myth
·Interactive and educational STEM-focused elements, highlighting the science, technology and engineering behind airship design.

Catch Up &amp; Read, a Dallas-based nonprofit whose mission is to equip children from underserved communities to read on grade level by the end of third grade, will be Galleria Dallas’ Gallery Wall partner for July. 
Catch Up &amp; Read will offer Storytimes at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout July. All readings will take place on Level 3 near The Play Place. 
Following Wednesday Storytimes, Camp Crafty will host a special pop-up activity inspired by the featured author and their book. Friday readings will be led by Catch Up &amp; Read literacy coaches and special guests.
