Be Prepared to Make a Difference
Would you know how to help a friend, coworker, family member, or neighbor experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge?
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches adults how to recognize signs of mental health and substance use challenges, start a supportive conversation, provide initial support, and help connect someone with appropriate resources.
This FREE online training for Texas residents ages 18+ includes required self-paced pre-work, a live instructor-led virtual class, and post-course requirements. Participants who complete all required components receive Mental Health First Aid certification.
No prior mental health experience is required—just a willingness to learn how to support others and make a difference in your community.
