Galleria Dallas

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Sept. 15 through Oct. 15, Galleria Dallas will highlight Hispanic and Latino culture through a monthlong Artist Collective exhibit and a series of free live performances.
The art window will display works by Brenda Melgoza Ciardiello, a Texas-based interdisciplinary artist, writer and educator whose work explores the relationship between place and memory through painting, ceramic sculpture and photography.
Throughout the month, local dance and music groups will perform on Saturdays and Sundays at 2 and 4 p.m. on Level 1 near Lane Boots. Entertainment rotates daily and includes ballet folklorico by nearly a dozen dance groups and a live mariachi performance by Mariachi Orgullo de LV Berkner High School. The BooMont Hotel, which reopened in 2025 after being closed for nearly 100 years, is completing further renovations and will reopen on weekends starting Sept. 4.
The attraction, located at Galleria Dallas, has been upgraded with two brand-new rooms, more square footage, bigger thrills and different ways to explore the hotel.
Guests will enter The BooMont Hotel through the refurbished lobby, still decorated in the golds and greens that delighted guests in 1901. Elevators transport guests through the hotel, where older children and adults can expect the unexpected as they navigate through mysterious rooms, interactive spaces and imaginative photo opportunities.
The BooMont Hotel, BOO! for short, will be open on Level 3 of Galleria Dallas near Raising Cane’s from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays Sept. 4-27. Beginning Oct. 2, BOO! will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays through Nov. 1, with some extended hours the week of Halloween.

Dallas Symphony Orchestra

Scarred by cold criticism after the premiere of his First Symphony, Rachmaninoff believed he’d never write another. But after a 10-year battle with creative self-doubt, his next symphony proved a triumphant success — a testament to the composer’s resilience and his ability to pierce the heart with music of profound beauty. With its aching lyricism and fevered sensuality, Rachmaninoff’s Symphony No. 2 embraces love and loss, passion and despair, while offering some of the most ravishing melodies ever written.

But first, be astonished by the genre-busting musicians of Time for Three as they merge classical music, bluegrass and Bulgarian folk song in Kevin Puts’ Contact. Winner of the 2023 GRAMMY® Award for Best Contemporary Classical Composition, Contact explores our deep-seated yearning for human connection.
