Thursday nights just got more exciting in Rockwall as the city announced the return of its Concert by the Lake series for the fall. Join North Texans from across the metroplex as they make their way to Rockwall for the free lakeside performances. Concert by the Lake is held at The Harbor from 7 - 9 p.m. on Thursdays in October featuring a wide assortment of musical artists to enjoy.
Called the most authentic Def Leppard tribute act in the world, Def Leggend performs songs from 10 of the original band’s albums, including hits like “Photograph,” “Animal,” “Pour Some Sugar on Me” and “Hysteria” on October 22. The band has more than 120 years of combined performance experience and while most members are DFW-based, they’ve toured throughout the United States and Mexico. Expect an experience of sight and sound that will make you think you’re at one of the best hair band concerts of the ’80s.
The free concerts take place on the Amphitheater Stage at The Harbor, 2059 Summer Lee Drive, on the shores of beautiful Lake Ray Hubbard. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, picnics and beverages. Concerts take place unless there is rain or severe weather at showtime; however, the start of a show can be delayed if it appears rain will stop soon.
