The Stewpot invites the Dallas community to remember people who died this past year while living unhoused in Dallas County, as well as those whose remains went unclaimed.
Our annual Community Remembrance Service will include the reading of names to honor their lives. It takes place Thursday, November 5, at 11 AM in the Sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church of Dallas, 1835 Young Street.
Held in observance of All Saints’ Day, the service will be led by the church’s pastors. People of every faith and those with no religious affiliation are welcome.
Free parking is available. Box lunches will be available for unhoused neighbors or anyone who needs a meal.
