Galleria Dallas hosts one of Texas’ most spectacular holiday experiences. The centerpiece of the season is the 95-foot-tall Christmas tree – the tallest indoor Christmas tree in the nation. The holiday fun kicks off with the Grand Tree Lighting Celebration, complete with nationally renowned ice skaters, fireworks and a back-flipping Santa. The celebration takes place on the ice around the iconic tree at noon on Black Friday, Nov. 27 and Saturday, Nov. 28.
The extraordinary ice-skating show will feature:
-Madison Chock and Evan Bates - 2022 and 2026 U.S. Olympic team gold medalist ice dancers
-Ashley Cain - two-time U.S. national champion and 2022 Olympian
-Keegan Messing - two-time Canadian champion and Olympian
-Ryan Bradley - U.S. National Champion
Before the big names take the ice, aspiring youth skaters from Galleria Dallas’ ice-skating school will perform to holiday tunes. The shows are made even more spectacular with the tree’s LED lighting by Twinkly, which displays brilliant, animated and immersive light shows.
The celebration concludes with a fireworks finale as the tree is lit by Missile Toes, Galleria’s famed ice-skating, back-flipping, pyrotechnic Santa.
