  1. Thousands across the Dallas metro area are celebrating Diwali. Here at this Frisco temple, for the first time, they're expecting about 1,000 people. They will be shuttling folks back and forth from malls and bazaars. (WFAA.com)
  2. A Dallas man was fatally shot and his brother, Buris Clewis, got in his vehicle and chased after suspects who fled in a small white four-door vehicle. Buris was involved in a crash at 3600 Elsie Faye Heggins Street and recently died from his injuries. The investigation into this murder is continuing. (FOX 4 Dallas)
  3. KERA's 29th season airs a Dallas food justice documentary about Oak Cliff and West Dallas. (D Magazine)
  4. A frost advisory is in effect overnight Thursday into Friday for areas east of Dallas. (NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth)
  5. The Las Vegas-based chain Sugar Factory American Brasserie will open the doors to its first Texas location on Friday, November 5 in Dallas. (Eater Dallas)
