Dallas, Texas - On June 1, Highland Village Mayor Daniel Jaworski confirmed the much-anticipated introduction of The Cheesecake Factory to The Shops at Highland Village, as per Dallas Metro News.

This development involves a significant shift: Barnes & Noble Booksellers, currently situated at 4100 Deer Creek Suite 100, will vacate its existing premises to accommodate the renowned restaurant chain.

A public notice prominently displayed on the bookstore's window reveals Barnes & Noble's plan to relocate to The Highlands of Flower Mound, situated at 6101 Long Prairie Road.

According to bookstore employees, the shop is expected to halt its operations at the current location by June 18, marking a change in local commerce.

Adding further confirmation, a report from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) affirms the forthcoming opening of a Cheesecake Factory branch in the Highland Village area.

The document reveals financial aspects concerning the structural alterations required to house the new occupant: an extensive renovation estimated at roughly $6 million.
