There’s just one more month to apply for the 2021 Fort Worth Neighborhood Awards. The awards recognize registered neighborhood associations for projects that beautify, revitalize and celebrate their communities. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 16.

Award descriptions, rules and nomination forms are available on the website or by calling the Community Engagement Office at 817-392-6201. Group awards include:
- Fort Worth Pride Award
- Spirit of Fort Worth Award
- Mayor's Health & Wellness Award
- Mayor's Civic Engagement & Collaboration Award
- Neighborhood of the Year (chosen from group award winners)
- Neighborhood Newsletter
Neighborhoods may also nominate individuals for individual recognition:

- Code Officer of the Year
- Neighborhood Patrol Officer of the Year
- Danny Scarth Trailblazer Award
- Neighbor of the Year
Awards are given for work completed between Nov. 1, 2020. and Nov. 1, 2021. Winners will be announced during the Mayor’s Neighborhood Awards Luncheon Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022.
