Celebrate the start of a new school year by treating the whole family to a free outdoor movie on Friday, July 30, at Rodeo Park, 2601 N. Houston St.

The movie will be Disney Pixar’s Luca. Set on the Italian Riviera in the 1950s-60s, the film centers on Luca Paguro, a sea monster boy with the ability to assume human form while on land, who explores the town of Portorosso with his new best friend, Alberto Scorfano, experiencing a life-changing summer adventure. The event begins at 5:30 p.m., and the movie begins at dusk. Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets. Free refreshments will be available. Backpacks and school supplies will be given away. There will be a raffle for a color television set, along with clowns and face painting.
