City Of Fort Worth: City Council Preview For Oct. 21 Special Called Meeting

The Fort Worth City Council will hold a special called meeting to draw a proposed 10-district map. The meeting will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in Room 2020 at City Hall, 200 Texas St.

Agenda items include a briefing on map-drawing procedures by Assistant City Manager Fernando Costa; presentation of maps drawn by Councilmember Cary Moon (District 4), Councilmember Jared Williams (District 6) and Councilmember Chris Nettles (District 8); a facilitated map-drawing exercise; and a summary and next steps presented by Mayor Mattie Parker.
