With a concerning uptick in cases tied to the Delta variant in recent weeks, the City of Fort Worth is making sure that access to COVID-19 testing remains widely available.

A testing site will be open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 12 at the TEXRail North Side Station, 3001 Decatur Ave. The site will be in the north parking lot. COVID-19 tests are available at no cost, with or without insurance. Appointments are not needed.

The testing site is hosted by the City of Fort Worth and Tarrant County Public Health and is open to everyone. Short nasal swab tests will be administered at no cost, with test results available the following day.

In addition, COVID-19 testing is easily found at many pharmacies, hospitals, doctor’s offices and private contractor sites; these locations may require health insurance or a cash payment.
