The clinic will be open these Saturdays: Oct, 9, Oct. 16, Oct. 23 and Oct. 30.
“The addition of Saturday service at Wilkerson-Greines offers additional options to people who work a Monday-through-Friday schedule or have other schedule conflicts,” said Brandon Bennett, Fort Worth health director. “Saturday vaccinations allow extra recovery time on Sunday for anyone who may have concerns about fatigue resulting from the vaccination.”

The drive-thru clinic is administered by the City of Fort Worth with support from Tarrant County Public Health and the Fort Worth Independent School District. The site is prepared to increase capacity once COVID-19 vaccine and booster shots are expanded to other groups.
Immunocompromised patients are eligible for a third shot booster starting 28 days after they received their second dose of an mRNA vaccine such as Moderna or Pfizer. In addition, patients that received Pfizer who are considered high risk by health condition, age (65 and above) or occupation/institution (18 and above) are eligible for a third-shot booster starting six months after a second dose. Studies are still being conducted to determine when those who received a Johnson & Johnson vaccine will need a booster dose.
There is no charge and no insurance requirement, and appointments are not needed.
