Medicare can be complicated. In an upcoming educational seminar, Ari Parker, a licensed Medicare adviser, will share an overview of what to know about Medicare, as well as how and when to sign up.

The virtual seminar will be held on Zoom at 7 p.m. Oct. 14. It is facilitated by Fire Station Community Center.
Parker will review the common mistakes people make, like the myth that there is only one time per year to sign up for Medicare coverage. The interactive, one-hour virtual seminar will help navigate the challenges and options of Medicare.

Who should attend? People approaching enrollment eligibility in Medicare (64 years and older) or people already on Medicare but who may want to gain a better understanding of their plans or improve their current coverage. Adult children of those who are eligible may be interested as well.
