COVID-19 vaccines will be available during a free outdoor concert 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center. The “Beat the Heck Out of COVID” concert in the park is billed as a family-friendly evening of musical performing arts and an opportunity for anyone ages 12 and up to get vaccinated for free.

The musical lineup includes jazz, blues and R&B by Rob Holbert Group, Fort Worth Contemporary Adult Division of Gospel Music of America and Jock Lewis on saxophone. Children can enjoy a bounce house, and food trucks will be onsite with food available for purchase. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring family, friends and lawn chairs for music under the stars.
