There’s time for one more blast of fun before the start of a new school year. The Fort Worth Police Department invites Stop Six residents to join a community block party from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at Brighter Outlook, 4910 Dunbar St.

Activities will include a parade, food served by FWPD officers, live music, games, backpack giveaway, Atmos Energy bill pay, free school physicals from the UNT Health Science Center and more.
